and after image. What will be the transformation?

   b. For those familiar with Isarael…is this already beginning?

   c. What places are listed to offer the people of Isaiah’s day a visual image of
     its future beauty?

   d. What will these waste places see?

    another. What are they?

II. Sighing and Sorrow Shall Flee Away (vs. 5-10)
   a. verses 5-6 saw a partial fulfillment during Jesus’ incarnation. How will this
ultimate fulfillment be so much better?

   b. How will the landscape be different during the millennial reign of Christ?

   c. The “highway” is likely the same mentioned in Isaiah 19:23-25. Who will
    use this highway?

   d. Where will this road lead that even a “fool” will not be able to go astray?

   e. Will there be any threat of danger on this highway?

   f. What will it mean that there will be no more sorrow or sighing?

   g. Are you looking forward to experiencing this?

Application: The millennial reign of Christ speaks primarily to the final redemption and salvation of Israel, but in Christ, we Gentiles have been made one with Israel and grafted in through Christ and His cross. This will be a day of great rejoicing for all God’s children. Where will we Gentiles be?
