I. Cyrus (vs. 1-6,12- 13)

a. Who does the Lord call His anointed in verse 1? 

 

b. What does the Lord say He will do for Cyrus?

c. Why does the Lord state he will do all these things for Cyrus?

d. What was required of Cyrus for the Lord to accomplish all this through him?

e. What will Cyrus do just because the Lord will make him?
 

  1. Our Sovereign God (vs. 7-11, 14-19)

a. What does verse 7 say the Lord creates?

 

b. What does it mean, “Woe to him who strives with his maker?”

d. Verse 14-25 flashes to a future for Israel yet to be revealed. In that day what will Egypt, Cush, and the Sabbeans recognize about Israel?
