Acts 26:24-32

I. Much Learning (vs. 24-25)

   a. Looking back to verse 19, who is Paul directing most of his “defense”
     toward?

   b. What do you think sparks Festus to interrupt Paul?

   c. What is Festus’ assessment of Paul?

   d. How does Paul handle the interruption?

   e. How do the words Paul uses, “truth and reason” describe the Gospel that
    Paul is sharing with this audience?

 

II. The King Knows These Things (vs. 26-29)

   a. How quickly does Paul turn his focus back to Agrippa?

   b. Now that Paul has shared his testimony and explained how the prophets
    foretold the very events of Christ’s death and resurrection, and how this
    compels him to do what he does…how does Paul draw Agrippa into what
    he is saying n verses 26-27?

   c. Does Agrippa believe the prophets?

   d. Does Paul preach to Agrippa like he believes Agrippa can be Saved?

   e. How close to conversion does it seem Agrippa comes based on his own
     words?

   f. What was Paul’s purpose in sharing his “defense” (testimony) with all the
    people in attendance?

 

III. Might and If (vs. 30-32)

   a. When Paul was finished, what did Agrippa and Festus discuss?

   b. What was the consensus of the king and governor concerning Paul?
   
   c. Who and what are the only factor that really determines Paul must go to
      Rome?
