WHO WILL PROVE ME A LIAR

Job 24:1-25                    (Job’s response to Eliphaz)

 

I.      Those Who Know Him… (vs. 1-12) 

a. The reference to “times” in verse 1 pertains to the periods of God’s judgments or blessings which God already knows.  Job wonders why He does not reveal these to those who know Him.  Does God warn or promise about these periods? _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

b. What distinction is Job making about those in verses 2-12 who seek to advance themselves by evil means? ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ c. What apparent injustice does Job lament in verse 12? _______________________________________________________________________

d. Does Job stating, “God does not charge them with wrong” prove that God sees them as innocent or that Job has not witnessed their judgment? _____________________________________________________________________________________________________

II.     Those Who Rebel Against the Light… (vs. 13-21)
