TRUMPET JUDGMENT SEVEN CONTINUED:

SYNOPSIS OF HISTORY

 

Revelation 12:1-12

 

I.  SIGNS IN HEAVEN (vs. 1-6)
 

a. Who does the woman clothed with the sun represent and how do you know?

 

b. What is the significance of the garland of twelve stars? _

 

          c. What Child does she labor to deliver? 

          d. Who was the dragon and who were the stars?

 

          e. How was verse four carried out in history? (Mt 2:13-18)

          f. The Child was caught up to heaven.  When was this accomplished?

          g. Fast forward to the time of the tribulation.  Now that Israel has  accepted Christ (Rev. 11:13)
             they are forced to flee Jerusalem. How long will they be persecuted? 

 

II. SATAN EVICTED FROM HEAVEN (vs. 7-11)
 

          a. Satan was cast out of heaven and took a third of the angels in verse 4 but as pointed out in Job 1:6,
              Satan has continued to have access as an accuser of the brethren (vs 10).  
              Here his eviction is permanent.  Does he go quietly?

b. How is Satan overcome and who overcomes him in verse 11?

 

c. What does it mean, “they did not love their lives to the death?”  

 

III. ISRAEL PERSECUTED (vs. 12)

 

a. Why the rejoicing in heaven in verse 12?


b. What warning is offered to the earth in verse 12?

         c. Why does Satan turn up the persecution on the inhabitants of the earth? 

           

IV. Application:   Based on this synopsis, what is the focal point of history?
