I. THE DISTINCTION (vs. 9-10)

     a. Paul had written to the Corinthian believers to not associate with sexually immoral people. Who specifically does he mean?

     c. Church discipline is not to be taken lightly and it is not easy. It is painful and grieves the body. These things considered,

IV. Application: The Bible teaches that as long as we are in the world we must be salt and light. When immorality is allowed

to exist in the church the light is dimmed and the salt loses its flavor and the church becomes ineffective. Can you see that the

church today faces the same problems as the 1st century Corinth? _________________________________________________
