I. Peter will Deny (vs. 31-34)

    a. How specific was Jesus’ warning to Peter? ____________________________________________________

II. Be Prepared Things are About to Change (vs. 35-38)

    a. Jesus seems to change topic in verse 35…why do you think He reminds them of the time He sent them out?

        garden Peter will go on the offensive and Jesus will tell him to put the sword away. What does this help us

        understand the sword is not for and what then can we surmise it is for? _____________________________

III. Application: As Christ was delivered up and crucified the disciples who had enjoyed a relatively quiet ministry

to this point would see something quite different. The persecution they would face is it still going on? __________
