Pastor Tom's November Newsletter 2020

November 2020

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we recognize there is still a pandemic going on so we will miss fellowship time with some in our congregation that have to stay home. We can still reach out to those who must isolate and let them know how much they are missed and offer our help in any way we can.

This year thank God for the blessings He has given to you and let there always be a word of praise from your heart and on your lips for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am particularly thankful for my family and God’s wonderful provision over this past year! I am also grateful for what God has done for us all at FLBC from successful mission trips to healing and helping our church family through some extremely hard things. Thank you Lord!!!

We will be voting November 3. This year FLBC will be a polling place for two precincts. Join me in praying that as our community comes into the church building, they will be received well and that they will be drawn by God to seek Him here. Then when they come back, we will be warm, friendly, inviting, and ready with the love of Christ and the message of the Gospel! Also, be sure to vote mindful of the Biblical principles that guide us.

If you are a committee chairman, ministry director, etc. remember to get budget requests to Stewardship ASAP so that they can prepare the annual budget to be presented at the November business meeting.

1 Cor 9:22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Thank you FLBC for the generous gift and outpouring of love for Linda and I last month!

I thank God for each of you!
