Pastor Tom's July Newsletter 2019

July 2019

We begin July by celebrating the 4th of July, Independence Day. It is noteworthy that the day we celebrate our independence is also a day we should acknowledge our Dependence on God. Our liberty is really only found in Christ. It is for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1

I hope everyone is getting caught up on the projects and activities that were put on hold last year while we built the education wing and hosted mission teams. God has blessed us with some very nice weather so please make good use of it and especially enjoy time with family and friends.

During our church picnic July 7, we will be enjoying an Independence Day celebration. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided but please bring a side dish or dessert to share and come fellowship with the church family. This fellowship time is wonderful for getting to know our other church family members. Weather permitting, we will enjoy a church kickball or whiffle ball game on the ball field! I heard something about the youth against the adults???

Finally, pray for our nation. Pray for repentance and revival. If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
