Pastor Tom's April Newsletter 2021

April 2021

Dear Church Family,

Can you believe it is already April! The days are really getting longer now, and it is time to throw off the mantle of winter and have a church-wide halibut fish fry on April 30th at 6 p.m. here at Fairview Loop Baptist Church. It will be a potluck dinner so please bring something to share. The halibut will be provided. Please come and invite a friend.

We have a group of guys preparing to do a construction mission trip to Tok April 16-23 to assist our NAMB missionary Jeff Selfridge with constructing a Sunday School room addition to a church and renovating another church building.

VBS is one of the most effective outreach and evangelistic tools that the Church participates in each year and plans are in progress for our Vacation Bible School June 7-11. Jennifer Gosh is lining up the teachers and workers for VBS right now so if you would like to help please let her know. The Hatcher Pass VBS Training will be at Fairview Loop this year on Friday, April 19th, at 5:30pm. Make every effort to be here because the training helps a great deal.

There are still ongoing mid-week Bible study opportunities at FLBC. On Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm we are just beginning a study of the Book of Revelation and on Thursday from 12:00 –1:00 p.m. at the men’s “Soup and a Study” we are currently studying through 1 Samuel.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
