November 2017 Newsletter

November 2017

November is a transitional month where we are moving steadily into winter.  We start out mild enough but will see the first real cold of winter by month’s end.   Fight the urge to hibernate and stay connected to your family, friends, and church!  Break out the boots, coats, and gloves and keep pressing on after all we start gaining daylight in less than two months.

At Thanksgiving we remember that there are many things for us to be thankful for.  I encourage you to spend time with family and take some time to share what you are thankful for this year.  As you have opportunity look for ways to be a blessing to others as well.

The final plans are coming together on the last phase of our new building, the Education Wing.  This keeps us on track to build summer of 2018.    Continue to join in the work, pray, and give as the Lord leads.  I want to thank each person that has done so much toward this work.

Nehemiah 4:6   So we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.

Thank you church family for all your many expressions of love and encouragement last month for “pastor appreciation.”   It is a joy to serve the Lord together with you!!!
