JOEL 1:1- 20

*Joel in Hebrew means YAHWEH is God.

* Joel sees a devastating locust plague as a harbinger of the end times and outpouring of God’s wrath.

* Joel is believed to have prophesied about 835 BC. early in reign of Joash (2 Kings 11:12).

             I. LOCUSTS (vs. 1-4)

a. Where did Joel get his “word?” ________________________________________________________ 

b. Joel appeal to all Israel to search its memory to see if anything like what was happening had ever
