Youth Ministry
  Missions Statement 
The Youth ministry of FLBC assists parents by partnering with them in their God-given role of teaching and training their children to know God and His Word, become Christ-like by applying biblical truth to daily life, serve God and others through the ministries of the church. 
 Regularly Scheduled Group Activities
Challengers:  A missions minded based group of 6-12th grade boys that meet on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. at the Church.   Challengers are also involved in assisting individuals within the church on an as need basis, and do basic grounds work on the church's vicinity. 
Acteens:  A missions minded based group of 6-12th grade girls that meet on Wednesday nights.  
Missions Project:  Once a year, usually in June, all those students who have faithfully participated in the Acteens and the Challengers throughout the previous school year, have the opportunity to attend a missions trip.  In the past we have gone to Tennessee, Hawaii, Florida, and Kodiak Island.  This year, our trip will again be to Kodiak Island as we train to do Vacation Bible School, Junior High Youth Camp, construction projects, and sidewalk evangelism. 
Sunday School: 
Junior High:  A group of 7th-8th grade students who meet and do a Bible study every Sunday from 9-10:00 a.m. 
Senior High:  A group of 9th-12th grade students who meet and do a Bible study every Sunday from 9-10:00 a.m. 
Youth Group Sunday Nights:
This class is for 6-12th grade students.  This class will meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 for fun time and fellowship.
Youth Leaders:
Lee and his family moved to Alaska in February, 2015 with the Air Force.  He and his wife Loraine come from Wisconsin, and they have three children: Jason,14, Rachel,11, and Shyan, 8.  Lee has been involved in youth ministry since 2010.
Darin had lived in the Valley for 36 years.  He and his wife Jennifer have a daughter, Kelasia, age 11.   Working with youth is one of Darin's favorite things to do.
